About Appleby Retreats
Appleby Retreats is a family-run small business operated by Cody and Kelly Appleby, hosts of two short-term rentals in very different parts of the country: Swampy Elegance Retreat in DeLand, Florida, and Mountain Retreat in Elk Park, North Carolina. We take pride in creating welcoming, thoughtfully maintained stays and giving guests the responsive, personal service we'd want when traveling with our own family.
As Airbnb Superhosts, Cody and Kelly are proud to be recognized for attentive communication, reliable hospitality, and consistently positive guest experiences. This website is independently owned and operated by Appleby Retreats. It isn't operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Airbnb.
Both homes are independently run, but built to the same standard: real photography, honest descriptions, and no surprises about what you're booking. This site exists to make it easy to compare the two and find the one that fits your trip, with a direct line to book once availability is live here.
Both properties are live and bookable directly on this site. Each property page has a Hospitable-powered booking calendar with live availability. Requests are reviewed before a reservation is confirmed.
