The space
✨⛰️The property is tucked beneath a mature canopy forest on peaceful Poga Mountain, surrounded by native wild cherry trees and abundant mountain wildlife. 7 acres of land.
🍒Pick wild cherries from back during summer! Home is surrounded by wild black berries, and other native fruits!
🦋🌿Guests can enjoy the outdoors in beautiful wooded setting, cool mountain air, and excellent bird watching right from the property.
☀️👙During summer months, the lush canopy creates a private treehouse-like feel from back deck with mountain feels. Banner elk nearby town offers white water rafting. Watauga Lake also nearby for relaxing lake days where pontoon boats are available for rent!
🪵🔥 Indoor fireplace available for cozy feels and out door fire place and propane pit also present.
🌅 In fall, winter, and spring, the property opens to beautiful long-range views and incredible mountain sunrises. The drive to the house is beautiful. It is truly breath taking.
🙏🚙Please make sure you have 4 wheel drive for winter and early spring months as the driveway is at an incline.
This is a fairly remote location. It is recommended to do grocery shopping prior to arrival so you don’t have to go back out. Beech mountain and Banner Elk is closest area for restaurants and grocery stores. Boone also offers more like Publix and Walmart.

🔒One bedroom is locked for owners use only and house keeping storage. Owner not present this is a private stay.

Late fall , Winter and spring bookings you MUST have 4 wheel drive.
This is a true elevated mountain stay… in the winter please be mindful of weather and being prepared for any snow ⛄️
Our home is off a maintained county road however the driveway could be difficult in winter to get out. Please bring chains for your vehicle.
